SONORA COLLECTIVE (YouTube Thumbnail)_edited.png

On March 2nd, 2022 Sonora Collective presented an evening of chamber music at Miguel Abreu Gallery at their 36 Orchard St. location.

Inspired by Alex Carver's painting No Altars, the musical program featured works that drew from themes of nature, dance, and storytelling. Audience members enjoyed experiencing the diverse program that included works by contemporary American composers Stacy Garrop and Valerie Coleman, as well as Argentine composers Astor Piazzolla and Alberto Ginastera.
